Give me chocolate-covered alfajores? I’ll take them.

Dear Sumi,
I just went back and made sure I had read all your blogs. I like keeping up with your adventurous life. I did have one surprise when I got to June however. I did not know that it was Pokin’s birthday in June. I still don’t know when in June it is. This made me kinda dad because I would have liked to at least send her a birthday card or something. Maybe you could send me her mailing address and I could send a belated card or something (maybe even hide some chocolate in there for you Sumi).
Anyway, I really like your blog. The pictures are really good, and I enjoy all the information you provide about the places you go and the things you see and do.
Did you know that I have a little buddy too, somewhat like you. Her name is Splat. She’s a Golden Bird. Only one draw back……she’s dead. That didnt stop her from going places with me, but she never really seemed to enjoy any of it, so now she just sits at home on my dictionary where she looks up cool words and points them out to me so that I can get smarter. Dead Bird, Bear Bud, we all have our coping mechanisms.
