Hi I’m Sumi. And here’s what you need to know about me.
Well, to start, I’m Canadian. From Whistler. But actually you should consider me to be a multi-ethnic spirit bear because my tag probably says something about being made in China. What can I say, my parents liked to travel and they believed in this global one world kind of stuff. My name comes from the Salesh word “Sumesh” which means “Guardian Spirit.”
I happen to hold a US passport. Mostly because my best bear bud Nicholas has one of those and I travel with him. He tries to stick me in his backpack when we travel instead of carrying me around like he should be. I kick him in the back whenever he pulls that stunt to remind him who’s boss.
In my spare time, I’m a mascot formerly associated with the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. It was great while it lasted. After all, I got all the free hot cocoa I wanted. I hung out with Quatchi and Miga and Muk Muk and loads of Paralympics athletes. They were all fine folk, but hey, games don’t play themselves.
And I love to game.
